The jerboa is one of the species that inhabit the Gobi desert. It is a small nocturnal rodent that can jump are far as 10 ft and are very adapted to burrow into in the desert regions. Its feet are adapted to the Gobi with its hairs on its feet that acts as snowshoes in this cold desert.  Its foods are seeds, grasses, roots and bugs.
